EXERCISE: Governor Declares Disaster Due to Statewide Storm Impacts
At 10 AM the State EOC received a verbal disaster declaration from the governor. This allows for funding and resource support through the state's Disaster Emergency Fund #DEF and activates the state's Resource Mobilization Plan.

The Colorado State EOC activated at 8 a.m. on January 16 at level two operations with more than 40 people staffing the center. The State EOC continues to monitor statewide conditions to provide resources and support as needed in local areas.
